Modern graphic design for this innovative New Zealand corporation
Assurity is a rapidly-growing, New Zealand owned company with offices in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. Assurity’s driven team assists organisations and businesses in embracing new technology so that they’re able to innovate the products they create and develop a high-performance culture.
Assurity is well-known for keeping up with the pace of change, particularly in the digital arena. Though the company’s visual identity and brand collateral was only three years old, the team decided it was time to refresh their graphic design. Assurity’s Marketing Director had previously owned a design agency and had a keen eye for good design. He knew what direction he wanted the brand to take – bold typography, a subtle update to the brand colours, and simple icons.
I worked closely with Assurity’s Marketing Director and Content Manager to create a series of designs matching their specifications.
I updated the headlines to uppercase, extra bold typography with tight kerning for a sleeker, more modern look and feel. I also introduced devices to tie the design range together, including subtle green highlighting and white underlining on certain design features. The new look and feel was rolled out across the full range of collateral, including case studies, e-guides, course flyers, brochures, keynotes, exhibition banners and social media graphics.
The team was thrilled with the refreshed look and feel for the company. Assurity continues to go from strength to strength and has recently won several large contracts.
